14cm Pot
Aloha is a new Mandevilla bred for Australian conditions.
This variety is prolific flowering with burgundy red, white or pink trumpet shaped flowers on compact, well branched, green foliage.
Aloha has an upright habit and will climb or cascade if given the chance, but otherwise will retain a neat, compact, shrub-like habit.
Flowering: Late winter through to autumn.
Position: Aloha Mandevillas enjoy full sun positions with free-draining soils. They will withstand high heat and will benefit from organically enriched soils.
Habit: Unlike the vigorous climbing habit of the traditional varieties
The Aloha series will retain a neat compact, shrub-like habit. Given the chance it will also climb beautifully up a lattice or wall, producing an abundance of big burgundy trumpet flowers.
Use: Perfect for climbing up lattice or walls, trailing in the garden or cascading from baskets.
Care: Plant in free draining soils and water in well for the first 3 weeks. Will tolerate short periods of dryness, but is best kept moist during summer. Trim lightly to promote new growth and flowering.
